We want to be helpful, let us know how...

Would anyone welcome a phone call now and then? We’ve set up a network of DBS checked volunteers who are more than happy to make contact with anyone in the Parish who is perhaps feeling isolated in this unprecedented climate.

We can offer a chat with news from the Parish, some emotional support and a friendly ‘ear’.  If you’d like this, please just ring or email the Presbytery and a volunteer will be in touch very soon. Our phone number and mail address are on our Contact Us page.

If you have a medical condition which makes you extremely vulnerable to coronavirus (COVID-19) and need support, you might want to register with the Government’s ‘Clinically extremely vulnerable’ website. CLICK HERE for details

The Samaritans are also available for anyone who feels they might need them. They can be called for free any time, from any phone, on 116 123.

Friends of Holy Family ask for YOUR help with gift cards

We thank you for all the support you give to help families in need within our parish. Due to the difficult circumstances with our church being closed we have been unable to collect food and distribute as normal. Some parishioners have asked how they can continue to help. We would be very grateful for any donation of gift cards for Asda, Tesco and/or other supermarkets as we can ensure they will be given to the families in need. If you would like to donate a gift card please post it through the presbytery letter box marked for Friends of Holy Family and also could you please make a note of the card value.
Thank you again for your generosity and continued support.
