We want to be helpful, let us know how...

Would anyone welcome a phone call now and then? We’ve set up a network of DBS checked volunteers who are more than happy to make contact with anyone in the Parish who is perhaps feeling isolated in this unprecedented climate.

We can offer a chat with news from the Parish, some emotional support and a friendly ‘ear’.  If you’d like this, please just ring or email the Presbytery and a volunteer will be in touch very soon. Our phone number and mail address are on our Contact Us page.

If you have a medical condition which makes you extremely vulnerable to coronavirus (COVID-19) and need support, you might want to register with the Government’s ‘Clinically extremely vulnerable’ website. CLICK HERE for details

The Samaritans are also available for anyone who feels they might need them. They can be called for free any time, from any phone, on 116 123.

Praying together as an online Community

Our church is open for Mass with limited numbers of people, so we would ask that you contact the parish office if you want to come.

Friends of Holy Family ask for YOUR help with gift cards

We thank you for all the support you give to help families in need within our parish. Due to the difficult circumstances with our church being closed we have been unable to collect food and distribute as normal. Some parishioners have asked how they can continue to help. We would be very grateful for any donation of gift cards for Asda and Farmfoods as we can ensure they will be given to the families in need. If you would like to donate a gift card please post it through the presbytery letter box marked for Friends of Holy Family and also could you please make a note of the card value.
Thank you again for your generosity and continued support.

Help us to recycle Christmas cards

We have quite a few cards donated by members of the parish, and saved from last Christmas, specially for the purpose of recycling into ... more Christmas cards. It'll be here before you know it! So don't delay, if you need something just to give you a purpose, and you find you've got some spare time, contact the Parish Office with your name and address and we'll drop round a pack (or two) together with card blanks and envelopes and a glue stick. Your creativity will do the rest. You can give us a donation for Queenscourt Hospice, The Youth Pilgrimage to Lourdes, or, if you prefer, return the completed cards and we will use them in the Parish, or to raise funds for the Parish. Give it a try, you know you want to!
