Thanks to everyone who came to our 2nd music event

We have invited Jo Boyce for the 3rd event...

Saturday 28th June 2025

11:00 - 17:00

On a lovely spring Saturday (22nd Feb), we learned about the history of our Mass and how the various parts developed over time, and learned a few new parts as well as the Jubilee hymn. A total of 21 people attended and there was a great atmosphere of friendship and joy, helped along by the sunshine and the music and the Holy Spirit!

Many thanks to Maria Hall for making it all so interesting, and bringing the historical elements alive and into perspective.

The next event (the third) will be held at Holy Family Parish Hall PR8 6AS on Saturday 28th June 2025 from 11:00-17.00

The programme will be announced soon but we hope to have Jo Boyce and the CJM team with us for that day, so please mark it in your diary.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
Please bring a savoury and sweet item for a shared table at lunchtime.

Bring easily portable instruments, regardless of the level of musicianship. This is not a day for perfectionists, but a day for considering Liturgical Music in a little more detail.

We hope to continue musical friendships and develop other ideas for collaboration across the Deanery.
