Meet up Mondays is all about, well, meeting up on Mondays...
Our next get together is on Monday 13th October 2025...
We're trying to make it easy for our Holy Family parishioners and visitors to get together in a light hearted way, in a warm environment, and to enjoy each others company. There is no charge but we do have a raffle for £1 a ticket.
'Meet up Monday' joined forces with Emmy Porter, at our last gathering, to produce works of art ranging from painting; to drawing; to felt; to clay; to collage all on the theme of 'Community'.
If you follow Emmy on her Arts Ease site, or look at Holy Family's own Facebook page, you will be able to see the video she produced of some of the work.
We also had a quiz, readings, games, biscuit decorating, jokes and a display of football memorabilia.
Our next Meet up Monday session is on Monday 13th October 2025 from 10-12 in the Parish Hall.
Come along! You will be made very welcome.
We are looking for parishioners, with some arts and crafts expertise, who would be willing to come along to Meet Up Mondays to run one-off sessions. In particular, if anyone is skilled in card-making or knows how to get the best use from a Big Shot card-maker then we would really like you to get in touch via the Parish Office.
You are welcome to join in at any time and to leave when you are ready. We have hot drinks and a variety of activities on offer.
After our Meet up session usually have a Book Group 12.30-1.30pm Monday. Please bring a book you would like to tell us about. Everybody is invited...

We are hoping to have some practical activities suitable for all at each event.
The kettle's on, and we'll have some gluten free goodies if you need them, as well as cake and biccies.
No booking, just turn up around 10am and we'll finish at 12.
You are very welcome to bring along your own painting, knitting etc to work on during the session if you prefer.
