The next session is on Monday October 27th at 10am in the Parish Hall.
Emmy has received National Lottery Funding to run community-based arts sessions and has chosen Holy Family as one of her venues. A total of 10 sessions will be held on the fourth Monday of the month between 10am and 12pm in the Parish Hall.
Please note that this is not always the final Monday of the month.
Emmy's Arts and Crafts session last week was very well supported. There were several different tables set out with a variety of materials for people to experiment with. At the end, there were collages, clay models, paintings, sewn art and drawings.
The next session is on Monday October 27th at 10am in the Parish Hall where we will be painting the outside of pumpkins using acrylic paint. There will be some real and artificial pumpkins to use but you are welcome to bring along your own too. Emmy will have ideas for everyone to try. Come along and create your own mini masterpiece.
We are very lucky to have such a talented artist working with us. Emmy has been asked to contribute to the Southport Arts Festival in August and she would like to make a collaborative piece with us on the theme of Community.
Don't forget to sign up on the sheet in the porch to reserve a space.
This is a great opportunity for the Parish, let's all make it a great success!
