“Charity is the cement which binds communities together and persons to each other"
St Vincent de Paul.
Southport North SVP Conference members would like to thank parishioners for their ongoing donations of food, clothing, shopping vouchers and finance enabling us to support local people in most need.
Recently we have been able to extend assistance to the Irenaeus Project, Waterloo, in the form of food and warm winter coats. Throughout the winter months, the Conference will be serving local families and individuals in different ways - do let us know if you know of anyone in need of a visit/practical support.
We would be grateful for non-perishable food items over the next few weeks: 'Treats' such as chocolate, biscuits, sweets, crisps, cake for Christmas food bags and regular family supplies -breakfast cereals, pasta/sauces, fruit cordial, canned fish, jam/other spreads, tea, coffee, sugar.
(We have a good supply of canned vegetables just now).
